Synopsis
From a passionate relationship to a chaotic one, the line is thin. This is the case for Alix, who, blinded by her love and her relationship, is plunged into the depths of a toxic and vi*lent bond. Between r*pe, dependency, and emotional blackmail, will Alix manage to break free?

About the director
Pauline Vial-Bonacci is an actress and theater teacher. After training in a theater-focused high school program, a cinema preparatory course, and intensive workshops (notably at Cours Florent and Arts en Scène), as well as training in dance, she wrote, directed, and acted in her first short film, Le Syndrome des Cœurs Brisés / TAKOTSUBO, which was screened in numerous cinemas.
As a continuation of this project, she created a photo series highlighting violent acts that are too often normalized, such as street harassment, marital rape, and school bullying, portraying them in public or everyday settings.
OATHS OF LIGHTS
My work
I began working on Oaths of Light for ASM Games in 2020 as part of a small team of five passionate individuals. Together, we successfully created a prototype for our first game. Throughout this journey, I have worked closely with the developer, contributing to the shaping and refinement of the game’s universe as it evolved, ensuring that the music seamlessly complements and enhances the world of OOL.
With the first chapter, Awake, set to release in late 2024 or early 2025, we hope it will deeply resonate with players. This milestone will pave the way for completing the full game and bringing to life all the musical drafts and ideas we’ve poured our hearts into over the years.
In Oaths of Light you will play as Eden. A young woman who’s peaceful life who will soon be turned upside down by a series of unexpected events. You will be taken on a journey through the kingdom of Meadran. In this adventure, your choices will have consequences.

About
The world of Oaths of Light is a colorful and vibrant fantasy one, but also full of magic and mysteries. Accompany Eden as she embarks on a journey to the capital to participate in the ceremonies of the Oaths of Light. Many events will occur prior and following this journey that will changer her forever. The battle system is inspired by JRPG classics : turn-based battles with ordered turns and a twist.
